Description

Jesus, the Good Shepherd knows how to shepherd the sheep. In John 10 Jesus the Good Shepherd outlines Leadership Characteristics. Jesus shares His heart on leadership as He directs, corrects, admonishes, and teaches how to Shepherd by his example. Are you up to the task?

  • Vision 1 – Calling – Jesus clarifies that not all who stand behind a pulpit have been called by Him. What does it cost to do ministry right? What are signs of a true Shepherd? Let’s look at three signs that confirm your ministry.
  • Vision 2 – Vision – Jesus Christ bled and died for His Church. Does His vision of Church align with your vision of Church? God calls to go up the mountain where we will investigate the blueprint.
  • Vision 3 – Character – We cannot remove the character of a Shepherd from the voice of the Shepherd. Your sheep know your voice and who you truly are is imbedded in your voice. Our character is who we are and discerning the Lamb and Lion nature of a Shepherd is crucial to our success.
  • Vision 4 – The Gateway to Maturity – The Sheep reflect the Shepherd and abundant life is found through the Shepherd both naturally and spiritually. Vision and dreams are the language of the Spirit; therefore, Leadership inspires us to fulfill the vision and dreams of heaven. New life awaits through the anointing of your leadership gift.
  • Vision 5 – Warfare – Being a Leader places a crosshair on our lives. Scripture tells us that leaders are involved in spiritual warfare, for when you strike the Shepherd the sheep will scatter. This puts a premium on our recognition of how vital it is for us to guard against the enemy’s attacks. Here is how we can guard ourselves from the enemy’s devices.
  • Vision 6 – Evangelism – God focuses the heart of every good shepherd on bringing the lost sheep back to the Shepherd. The heart of Jesus has always been to bring in those outside the fold into His Fold, the Church. Listen for the Spirit of Encouragement as we finish our time together.
